Since the creation of regions of economic integration to develop a more powerful economy between countries, some have been really advanced compared to others. The European Union (EU) is known to be helpful economically speaking but also has a political impact on the world. On the other hand, the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) is purely based on economics and will not push further the process of a free trade area. However, they both have their differences and similarities. The differences of these regions are often caused by the original goal of the creation, whether it is for NAFTA or EU.
